Elnaz Javani | Custom Typeface and Poster Design

For this project, I had the opportunity to design a promotional poster for an upcoming artist talk that aligned with an exhibition showcasing the artist’s unique style. The challenge was to create a compelling visual that not only captured the essence of the artist's work but also communicated the details of the event effectively.

To achieve this, I developed a custom typeface inspired by the artist's exhibition themes and motifs. The typeface reflects the artist's aesthetic, incorporating elements of their visual language and color palette, allowing the text to harmoniously blend with the overall design of the poster. Each letterform was carefully crafted to embody the spirit of the artwork, making the typography an extension of the artist's voice.

The poster layout featured geometric imagery alongside the custom typeface, ensuring that it would catch the eye of potential attendees while conveying essential information such as the date, time, and location of the talk. Through this project, I not only enhanced my skills in typography and graphic design but also gained valuable experience in creating cohesive visual narratives that resonate with audiences.
